About us
Creative Futures believes in the transformative power of creativity and the arts. We work with brilliant artist-educators, and with communities across London and the Southeast, to devise and deliver programmes which can have lasting and positive impacts on those involved.

Our work covers all art forms, and across many different settings: Community Halls, Children’s Centres, Nurseries, Schools and Youth Centres. As well as focussing on the children and young people involved, we also work closely with parents (especially in our Early Years programmes) and with professionals: teachers, carers, nursery workers, and volunteers.

Running since 2011, Creative Futures has a compact management team which oversees all its programmes with care and professionalism, and a growing network of brilliant artist-educators whom we engage and nurture. Although primarily London-based, some programmes are also delivered in parts of the Southeast, and we are pleased to have strong networks across the country within the early years sector in particular.
Our values
Child-led
Putting the child or young person at the centre of our work, from devising and planning through delivery to evaluation.
High quality
Our programmes are shaped and led by experienced, reflective artists and producers drawing on research and our own learning.
Inspiring
We aim for every project we deliver to be outstanding, meaningful and memorable for all the children, young people, families and professionals involved.
Locally-driven
Ensuring that every project is driven by the specific needs and strengths of its local community; and finding new ways of embedding the arts at the heart of every child’s experience
Democratic
Aspiring to be a culturally democratic organisation where our community of artists and participants shape our work together and are all treated ethically, fairly, equally and respectfully.
