Together We Sing

TWS-LogoBlueonGreen[19]_edited.png

Together We Sing is a musical care project for mothers and their babies aged 0-12 months in Thanet, Kent. A pilot was delivered in 2025 modelled on Community Families ‘Nurture Groups’, with the aim of supporting new mothers who are vulnerable, isolated, or suffering poor mental health. Our specialist music facilitators created warm, welcoming and nurturing environments in which mothers could find confidence, build friendships and discover new ways to bond with and soothe their babies. Sessions combine singing and music-making with time for chatting and connecting.  This strongly evidence-based approach is proven to have a profound and far-reaching impact on maternal mental health and infant wellbeing.
