Young People's Programme
Creative Futures has been working with young people, especially the most vulnerable, since 2012. Our Young People’s Programme aims to provide young people with access to high quality and transformative creative arts experiences and opportunities. Our programmes give young people the chance to co-create alongside professional musicians and artists currently shaping today’s contemporary culture. We highlight the creative industries as inspiring pathways for future careers.

Our Young People’s Programme is a multi-stranded initiative which supports the following groups and challenges:

Young people navigating the care system, including those leaving care

Young people at risk of school exclusion

Young people with special educational needs, disabilities, especially those who are deaf

Young people struggling with poor mental health and well-being

Young people with caring responsibilities
Each programme will be designed to achieve some/all of the following outcomes:

Improved self-confidence, resilience and aspiration

Broader creative/artistic skills across multiple disciplines

Improved mental wellbeing and positive mental health

Better connected communities of young people facing similar challenges

Improved verbal and non-verbal communication skills

Young people are empowered to get their voices heard, and shape their future
